“PLAY. PREDICT. GET REWARDED.” Fandom Sports Media Corp. (Fandom Sports) has partnered with Polygon Network. Through its FANDOMART NFT marketplace, Fandom Sports will be “supporting efficient and scalable NFT minting.” FANDOMART is poised to launch in Q1 2022. It will be featured inside of Fandom Sports’ “fan engagement and wagering ecosystem” called the UIA Platform. This Fandom UIA Platform hosts FANDOMART.

Via the Fandom UIA Platform, players can now view streamed content, and submit predictions and wagers (competing with their friends or the global community). Players can now also create NFTs on the go. By capturing multiple memorable event moments, players would create an NFT. All this even while still continuing to watch their stream or broadcasted content (boosting fan engagement).

On the Fandom UIA Platform, players can extend support for minting protocols and for exchanges’ interoperability. Leveraging blockchain via Polygon’s L2 Ethereum scaling platform at this stage would allow Fandom Sports to operate swiftly, securely, and affordably.

Polygon is the first choice of various blockchain-powered Web 3.0 games and NFT projects, such as Decentraland, Opensea and The Sandbox. Fandom Sports can now realize its endeavour of emerging as the go-to platform for real-time NFT creation, and trade.

A Fandom Sports press release quotes its CEO and President, David Vinokurov, as follows:

Our timely connection with the team at Polygon satisfies numerous ongoing initiatives for Fandom Sports. Having an industry leading blockchain protocol partner with the technical reach and marketing scope of Polygon will give the Company the ability to capitalize on the Company’s NFT on the Fly solution by deploying with top tier esports and sports organizations. Our goal to facilitate the mass creation of NFT from players’ favourite streamed content providers will provide for new revenue streams for our partners, increased engagement for our players and new opportunities to interact with fans globally.
